General Information

Mark Davis Basketball Camp is for boys and girls of all ages and skill levels.
Mark Davis, Camp Director, 36ERS Legend and NBL Hall of Famer holds the Basketball Camp with an aim to providing sporting opportunities to young
boys and girls who are actively seeking to improve their basketball skills.

Whether they are newcomers to the game, or looking to go to the next level, the camp will provide a range of training combined with fun games and activities centered around creating a team environment that focuses on building confidence, self esteem, respect and commitment.

A Typical Day at the Mark Davis Basketball Camp

7.30am – 8.30am…………. Breakfast
9.00am – 11.00am……….. Training session
12 noon – 1.00pm…………. Lunch
2.00pm – 4.00pm…………. Training session and games
4.00pm – 5.00pm…………. Free period
5.00pm – 6.00pm…………. Dinner
6.30pm – 8.30pm…………. Training session
10.30pm Lights out

It is not compulsory for U/10 campers to participate in the evening sessions.

 

Mark Davis Basketball Camp Schedule

Registration on Monday 3rd is between 8.00am and 11.00am. A BBQ will be served at 11.30am (free for parents and campers) and the camp officially commences at 12.30pm with an introduction and orientation session.

Awards Ceremony

Commencing on the final day with parents and guests welcome, awards will be given for each age group. Awards include: Most Outstanding Player; All Star Five (1st team), Championship Team, All Defensive, 3-on-3 Champions team. Certificates of Participation will be awarded to each camper.

What to bring to Mark Davis Basketball Camp

Basketball, suitable training clothes including shoes (preferably worn in), water bottle, athletic tape for ankle strapping, training towels, toiletries and shower towel, sunscreen, hat, casual clothes for evening wear, a pillow and bed linen that includes a top sheet is a must even if bringing a sleeping bag. (Please tag all items) Spending money for camp canteen.

Discipline

A high standard of self discipline and respect for others as well as obedience of camp rules is expected from all campers.

Medical

You will be asked to provide medical details prior to camp. We have a full-time registered nurse at camp.

Check-Out

Mark Davis Basketball Campers are requested to check out after the completion of the Awards Ceremony at approximately 3.30pm on the final day of camp. Parents/Guardians are invited to attend the awards ceremony.

Final Bulletin

Final Camp information will be forwarded to you prior to the commencement of the camp.

Cancellation

BEFORE 27TH DECEMBER 2021 will incur a $50 administration fee. Definitely no refunds will be given after this date. Cancellations must be in writing to Mark Davis Basketball Camp headquarters. Any Mark Davis Basketball Camper who leaves a camp due to illness or injury will receive a prorata credit, good for use at future Mark Davis Basketball Camps. Space is limited, so book early.
